Meet the team

Sean
Clinical Director & Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon
BSc, DVM, PgC (SAS), AFHEA, MRCVS
After earning degrees in both Biochemistry at the National University of Ireland Galway, and Veterinary Medicine at the Warsaw University of Life Sciences, I made the move to Cheshire in 2016 where I started to work as a vet in very busy mixed animal practices gaining the opportunity to work a huge variety of different species.
In addition to general veterinary practice, I have a keen interest in surgery. My surgical journey includes completing two intensive internships: one in Advanced Orthopaedics at Fitzpatrick Referrals and another covering a broad range of disciplines at the Small Animal Teaching Hospital, University of Liverpool. I also hold a Postgraduate Certificate in Small Animal Surgery, which has equipped me with advanced skills to perform complex surgical procedures.
Every day, I’m involved in everything from routine check-ups to emergency interventions and surgical management of complex conditions. I’m particularly passionate about integrating traditional and innovative approaches, including the use of acupuncture as a holistic pain management technique on suitable cases and have published a paper on its benefits in veterinary practice.
Teaching the next generation of vets and nurses is another role I cherish, as an Associate Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. It’s all about passing on knowledge and ensuring high standards of veterinary care continue.
Outside of work I enjoy being active by going to the gym, travelling, catching up with family and friends, and spending time with my cat Joey. I also like to sing and have competed in various competitions.

Hi, I’m Alexa, a small animal veterinary surgeon who graduated from the University of Veterinary Medicine in Bucharest in 2018.
Since qualifying, I’ve gained broad experience in small animal practice, as well as in official veterinary work, with a strong interest in animal health and welfare.
My main professional focus is dermatology. I am currently undertaking further training in this area and am a proud member of both the British Veterinary Dermatology Study Group (BVDSG) and the European Society of Veterinary Dermatology (ESVD).
These memberships allow me to stay up to date with the latest developments in the field and continually build on my expertise, with the goal of specialising in veterinary dermatology..

I am a dedicated Head Veterinary Nurse and Practice Manager with a passion for providing high-quality patient care. As a Clinical Coach, I mentor and support student veterinary nurses, helping to shape the next generation of veterinary professionals.
My passions and interests include anaesthesia, emergency and critical care, and ultrasonography, where I thrive on high-pressure situations and complex cases.
In my free time, I enjoy unwinding with long country walk and cherishing quality time with family.

I studied veterinary nursing at university and qualified in 2014. I have worked in general practice as well as shelters for the last 10 years.
More recently, I've become a locum nurse which is how I found the amazing team at Guildford. My main interest in nursing is anaesthia and making sure your pets are as comfortable as they can be during their time with us.
In my spare time I like to bake, run and play video games with my partner.

Hi, my name is Sinead and I am a 2nd year student veterinary nurse. I am passionate about animal welfare and enjoy inpatient care, taking the time to ensure your animal is as happy and comfortable as possible whilst in with us. I live locally with my partner and our three cats and in my spare time enjoy going on runs and pet sitting

I have always loved animals and enjoy working with them. I have a hamster called Lady Poof. In my spare time I love to bake and go on bike rides with my partner. I have just started nursing collage with the hope of becoming a register veterinary nurse.

Hi, my name is Jasmine and I am the deputy Head Veterinary Nurse, Clinical Coach & Anaesthesia Nurse. I spend a lot of my time in theatre, or on the wards looking after your animal's whist they are with us, giving them lots of TLC. I love long country walks with my two dog's Daisy and Belle, and spending quality time with my amazing little boy.

I have a wealth of customer service and animal care experience. Over the past four years, I have been studying pet nutrition and behaviour. I have also volunteered as a home checker for the RSPCA and Cats Protection. I have a passion for animal care, welfare and wildlife. I also work alongside Wildlife Aid in Leatherhead, helping to release rehabilitated hedgehogs back into the wild. I am also a member of the CMA (Complimentary Medicine Association) having completed a diploma in animal nutrition and behaviour.
Proud dad of my rescue cat Lily, who is very timid, so loves to spend her days laying on the windowsill watching the birds in the garden. I am proud to work in the veterinary environment, helping animals and their owners.
I have recently completed my First Aid at work training as well as my Mental Health First Aider Course (MHFA)

My name is Gemma and I am a first year Vet student. I have done a previous degree and masters in Bio Veterinary Science and have worked in practice since 2022 and absolutely adore all animals, but my heart belongs to my 2 hamsters. I hope in the future to work with more exotics and wildlife.

I have been working in the animal industry since 2016 and have had a wide variety of pets, from lizards and snakes, to bunnies and hamsters. In my spare time I also do pet sitting and dog walking, I also love gaming with my partner.
As well as being a Pet Health Advisor on Reception, I also work as a Veterinary Care Assistant helping and supporting the clinical team.

I joined Vets4Pets in August 2023, and am thoroughly enjoying my role working alongside a great team here, and the privilege of looking after so many lovely clients and their pets. I can be found most days helping the clinical team with their procedures and appointments as well as aftercare in the kennels giving lots of attention and love. I have two beautiful dogs who I enjoy walking, and live with my partner in Farnham.

My name is Cooper, and I'm probably the most handsome member of the team. I like to chill out behind the scenes at the practice just keeping an eye on everyone. I like my toys, so you can often find me snuggled on my bed with one of my favourites. I love coming to work with mummy Josie who is one of the Veterinary Care Assistants.
Oh, and one of my most important jobs is to chew up all the waste paper and cardboard into tiny pieces.
