After completing a degree in Animal Science, I decided that I wanted to train as a veterinary nurse. I qualified and became a RVN in 2012, I later went on to gain a Graduate Diploma in Professional and Clinical Veterinary Nursing in 2015 with the RVC. Throughout my career I have always had a passion for surgery and anaesthesia, with a particular interest in orthopaedic pain management. I started at Vets4Pets part-time when the practice opened in September 2017. At home I am a mum to 2 young boys, who certainly keep me busy! We love going on long walks as a family with our 10 year old Hungarian Vizsla Edison

I have been a veterinary nurse nurse since I finished college, and I qualified in 2001. I enjoy radiography and nurse clinics. I have a dog called Buddy and 2 cats Noah and Jamie.

I started working at Hedge End Vets4Pets in November 2018 as a receptionist. I then completed a veterinary care assistant course and shortly after that began training as a veterinary nurse in January 2020. I am most passionate about rabbit care within the veterinary industry and hope to continue broadening my knowledge throughout my career. At home I am kept busy with my many animals including a Dachshund named Slinky, 2 rabbits, a tortoise and a horse.

My Name is Tara, I have been nursing since 2007 and have worked at first opinion and referral. I have a particular interest in exotics and ward nursing. I have a Chihuahua cross called Meeko and a Black cat called Merlin.

I joined vets4pets Hedge End in March 2018 after deciding I wanted a career change, originally part time. Since October 2019 I have been here full time and now am the reception manager. This was a great decision, as I love my job and the team I work with. No day is the same! Working with animals is rewarding and at some time challenging job but I wouldn’t have it any other.
I have completed the animal care level 2 course and am a pet loss and bereavement counsellor.
I have a mischievous lionhead rabbit at home called Simba.
