We are open for essential care only
In line with government guidelines, we are only offering medically essential appointments, so please contact the practice team before travelling. Our opening hours may also vary, so please monitor our webpage to keep up to date with the latest information.
We are taking steps to help keep you and our colleagues safe:
- If you do need to visit, we ask that only one person per pet comes along, to help reduce the number of people in the waiting area at any one time.
- Social distancing is crucial at this time. When arriving, you may be required to call ahead and wait to be invited in by a member of our team. You will be informed if this is necessary when you call us to make your appointment.
- Once inside the practice, we ask that you please respect a two metre distance from our colleagues and other clients.
- We are only accepting card payments to help minimise contact between you and our colleagues.
- If you can’t visit the practice and are concerned about your pet’s health, please contact us to discuss available options.
We will continue to share regular updates here and on our Facebook page. We thank you for your patience at this time.
Meet the team
I joined this team in January 2015, having qualified in 2013 and became the senior nurse a few months later. One of my roles is to train staff and the student nurses, to do this I attend a course. One of the most stressful times in practice is the emergency and critical care, so i try and keep up to date in these areas. At home I have two Labradors, three cats, a house rabbit and many tropical fish. I am involved in organising the Honley Show and try and support the local wildlife rescues and animal charities where I can.
I joined the Vets 4Pets family in 2012 as a receptionist. From there I have built myself up and now I am training as a veterinary nurse. I love working with animals and my Vets 4 Pets family. I have 1 cat named Annie. I love all things Disney and Harry Potter.
I joined the practice family in December 2014 as work experience. Since then I have begun my journey to become a Registered Veterinary Nurse. I am a real cat person but love any animal that comes to visit and will never turn down a cuddle! I have 2 cats and also have a diploma in Animal Management.
I’m a student Veterinary Nurse and have worked here since April 2015. I own a Beagle named Ellie whom I re-homed at 9 months old. I also have two cats, Moh and Neeps, both of which were abandoned at different practices I’ve worked at. In my spare time I enjoy walking my dog especially in the Lake District. I also enjoy knitting and my yearly ski trips to France.
I’m a student Veterinary Nurse and joined the Vets4Pets family in May 2017 as a placement student. I’d say I’m a dog person but I love all animals no matter what species they are! I own a wonderful Golden Retriever called Honey. I look forward to qualifying as a Registered Veterinary Nurse in summer 2018!
I started as work experience in October 2015 helping out one day a week. I am now part of the team here at Vets 4 Pets as an Animal Care Assistant; I guess I must have done something right! I am hopefully going to go onto getting my nursing diploma and become fully qualified, having already graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Animal Management and Wildlife Conservation.
I joined the practice in September 2012 as part of the reception team. I love meeting the owners and their furry friends. I have three cats and I love caring for all the hedgehogs who visit my garden every evening until they hibernate for the winter.
