Meet the team

Born and bred in Glasgow I graduated in 2017 from Glasgow Vet School. I lived and worked in Dunoon for 2 years as a mixed practice vet where you dealt with everything and anything that came in the door; from hedgehogs to cows, from kittens to horses. I moved back to Glasgow and have been working in small animals and as an official veterinarian in food exports, with locuming around Glasgow and further a field. I have a keen interest in surgery and the more unusual animals.
I have 2 bearded dragons along with a cheeky wee cat Zuko that occasionally you will see helping me out at work.
When I'm not at work I will most likely be found up North on top of a mountain, climbing and out mountain biking.

Hi I'm Lorna. I joined the team here at Kilmarnock in February 2015, as an Animal Nursing Assistant, 7 years later I am now Practice Manager.
Having been brought up on a farm, I have always been around and worked with animals. I then finished secondary school to work in a mixed practice for 10 years before Joining the Vets4Pets Team.
I find my job very rewarding and I love all aspects of what I do.
When I am not at work I am kept very busy at home with my 9 year old son and my Chocolate Labrador Luna, who loves to strike a pose for our Facebook page. In my spare time (if lucky enough) I enjoy helping my dad out on the farm.
I look forward to meeting you and your pets.

Hi, I am Natalie.
I started with Vets4Pets in 2014 just after the practice opened as a Veterinary Care Assistant but as the years went by, I discovered it was being a Client Care Advisor I really love. The best parts of my role are talking to our clients, meeting their pets and watching them grow up - in some cases this has been from birth!
I enjoy working with the rest of the Kilmarnock Vets4Pets family as we are a great team.
When I'm not working, my time is spent with my daughter doing various activities and hobbies, caring for my dad and if I can spare any time at all between all of this, I help out with animal rescues.
Currently in our very pet friendly home we have a few rescue pets, our two dogs are Polly and Mimi, our African grey parrot, Jamie and 3 cats. That's all... at the moment!
All through my life I have grown up with various pets and always had a passion for caring, helping and working with animals. As soon as I could I got a job working with animals whilst still at school and since then I have always worked in the veterinary world as it's so rewarding and always different.

Hello, I'm Carmine!
I first started working with Pets At Home Kilmarnock in 2014 and this is where I met my partner, James.
I was then lucky enough to join the in store Vets4Pets team in 2015 as a Client Care Advisor.
I love my role, meeting new people and their pets, but the best part is that no two days are the same and everyday I learn something new.
I took our cat Loki (pictured with me) home from work in 2017 and since then he has been a fantastic little house cat and welcomed and became best friends with our daughter from the minute we brought her home.
Outwith work I'm normally busy with my family, out on country walks or finding different activities to do.

Hello, I'm Lisa. I recently joined Vets4Pets Kilmarnock as a Client Care Advisor in April, 2022.
I absolutely love animals. I'm over the moon to have started working with them as it has always been my dream to do so. As it is my first time in a veterinary setting it's all new but I am very lucky to be working with such a lovely / supportive team.
Outside work I love spending quality time with my family and friends. I have three kids who keep me on my toes. We have a cat, Amber hamster, Ruby and latest addition our puppy Millie who we love going on adventures with.
I am looking forward to meeting all the lovely clients and their furry babies!

Hello, I’m Carrie
I’m new to the team and started working for Vets4Pets Kilmarnock in April 2022.
I love animals and have always had a passion to work with them. My new role as Client Care Advisor truly has made my dream come true!
I’m a Mum of two and, when not at work, I love nothing more than spending quality time with my family and our adorable guinea pig, Percy. I also enjoy lots of long nature walks and watching movies.

Hiya, I'm Karen your new VCA.
I was lucky to join Vets4Pets Kilmarnock in May 2022. My love for animals started when I was just a nipper, as my grandfather bred small furries. I knew then I would work with animals in one way or another. I left school at 17 straight into my first job as a vets technician in G.U. Vet College, there I stayed until family life came along when I had 3 boys (all grown up now). Moving to the Irvine Valley late '89 I got my next job as a kennel manager in a boarding/breeding kennel & cattery, which I loved. Our local vet was on premises regularly doing vet checks etc, after many years he offered me a job, which I accepted and was there for 21years until he retired.
Over the years I have had various animals, but now I've got 2 Romanian rescue dogs & 2 rescue cats. In my down time I love nothing better than to take my dogs in my campervan and head off on an adventure.
I look forward to taking care of all your lovely pets when they come into practice.
Vets4Pets Kilmarnock is committed to bringing you affordable, high quality care via a modern, well equipped practice, including a lab, pharmacy and digital x-ray. Plus, on site car parking too!
The friendly team can't wait to meet all of their new clients!
