I grew up in Glasgow but qualified from Bristol Vet School in 2007 and obtained a PhD in Feline Kidney Disease from the RVC in 2012.  Since then, I have been working in small animal practice, including charity and night work.  I joined Vets4Pets Kilmarnock in October 2019 and I am interested in all aspects of medicine, especially feline medicine.  At home, I have a Savannah Cat called Eko.

Started with Vets4Pets in February 2017. Coming from an airline background Vets4Pets was the first time that I have worked in a Veterinary practice.

What I have loved the most is learning all about the industry and getting to meet the most amazing animals and their owners.

Having 2 dogs of my own Alfie and Pip which are shelties, I love going long walks with them and spend as much time with them as possible.

I joined the team here at Kilmarnock in February 2015, as an animal nursing assistant. I find my job very rewarding and I love all aspects of what I do. Previously I worked in a mixed practice since leaving secondary school. When I am not at work I am kept very busy at home with my young son and my two Chocolate Labradors. I also enjoy helping my dad out on the farm if I can find any spare time.
