Meet the team

I qualified from the University of Liverpool in 2013. After starting work in a mixed practice in North Wales, I then changed to small animal practice with a quick stint in South Africa doing some wildlife veterinary work. I spent 9 months working as a locum before settling here at Leigh.
I have a keen interest Ophthalmology and am currently completing the BSAVA post graduate certificate in ophthalmology. I also enjoy soft tissue surgery, rabbit medicine and looking after senior pets.
In my spare time I can be spotted in the hills with my collie cross Jack and Labrador Oscar. I also have a keen interest in triathlons and rugby.

Hi, I am Juliana
I have been working in small animal practice since I graduated in 2017 from the Complutense University of Madrid, and I moved to the UK with my four cats in early 2019 to begin a new adventure!
My main interests are Internal and Feline Medicine, Anaesthesia and Dermatology, and I’m currently completing a Dermatology Certificate this year.
I have been volunteering in different animal charities in both UK and Spain for almost 15 years, and I foster and rehabilitate both dogs and cats who sadly don’t have families to call their own.
In my free time you can find me reading, playing my ukulele or playing fetch with my Cocker Spaniel, Teo.

Hello!
I'm Sarah and I’ve recently joined the Vets4Pets team here at Leigh as a Registered Veterinary Nurse.
In work I love keeping our patients nice and warm during their stay with us! My favourite role is recovering patients from surgery and general anaesthetic.
Outside of work I love spending time with my Cocker Spaniels Arthur and Emma, our favourite places to visit are the beach and the lakes.

Hello, I'm Brooklyn
I started here at Leigh Vets4Pets in May 2021 as a registered nurse.
I have a keen interest in cats and this has made me enrol onto the Feline Certificate course in March 2022. My love for cats came from hand rearing my own cheeky cat, Autumn.
Also I love spending my free time with horses.

Hi, I am Jen!
I am a student veterinary nurse studying at Myerscough College in Preston. I have always had a keen interest in veterinary medicine and I have been fortunate to work as a veterinary assistant for over 8 years. I love working with all animals and have had the pleasure of caring for my own horse, dogs, cats and mice!
I am also a mummy to my three children and at the weekends we enjoy going for long walks with their Nanna. In my spare time I enjoy gardening, baking and going to the gym.
I look forward to meeting you and your lovely pets at Leigh Vets4Pets

Hi I’m Courtney,
Last year I completed a work placement here, at Leigh Vets4Pets, whilst studying for my certificate in Animal Management. I was lucky enough to be offered a Veterinary Care Assistant position here until September, when I will go on to do Veterinary Nursing in University whilst staying here for placement as a student nurse.
I have a keen interest in exotic animals and I currently have a Leopard Gecko a Guinea Pig, Cocker Spaniel & a rescue from Spain.

Hi, I'm Lorna
I am a first year student veterinary nurse. I studied animal nursing assistance last year at Eccles Sixth Form College.
I decided I wanted to work in a small animal practice as I have always had a love for animals.
I currently have 3 horses, 2 Chihuahuas and a Labrador.
In my spare time I like to spend time with my horses and go to dance competitions with my dance team at SDZ Academy

I am the practice manager here at Leigh and I have been here since January 2018,
I have been working with animals for over 15 years, I have 4 dogs, a bearded dragon, 2 tortoises and fish. I have a keen interest in dog nutrition, behaviour and rehabilitation. In my free time I love being outdoors, camping, hiking with the dogs and mountain biking.

Hi I am Stacey, I am a Client Care Manager here at Leigh and I joined this great team in August 2018. I have been working with animals in a 24hr hospital for nearly 5 years before joining Leigh Vets4Pets. I have veterinary care assistant qualifications, admin qualification and I have completed my level 3 animal management. I have a crazy, loveable, chocolate Labrador which is the equivalent to having 10 dogs! But I love him. I look forward to going to work everyday to meet new and existing clients and their 4 legged babies! In my home time I'm a mummy to my son and my furry baby. When I can I enjoy going to the gym, jogging and socialising with my friends.
