I studied veterinary medicine in Hannover, Germany and in Bern, Switzerland and graduated in 1998. After finishing my doctoral thesis in Virology/Immunology at the University of Berne, I moved to the UK in 1999. I've worked in several hospital based veterinary practices in the South East of England. in 2009 I moved with my family to North Wales, where I have worked in a local small animal practice. I have a strong interest in Veterinary Ophthalmology, obtained my RVC Certificate in Veterinary Ophthalmology in 2011, and I've worked at Rutland House Referrals, St. Helen's, Liverpool, as a referral ophthalmologist. In my spare time I enjoy family life with my partner, two children, two cats Llio and Bennie and my two guinea pigs, Rossie and Pedro. I'm also trying to master the Welsh language.

I grew up in Llandudno Junction and I am a fluent welsh speaker. My love for Nursing started when my family moved to a small holding in Llangernyw. I qualified in 2016 and have worked for over 7 years in mixed practice here in North Wales. I joined the team at Llandudno Vets4Pets in January 2019 and I am really enjoying focusing on just small animals. I have a keen interest in nutrition and all things rabbit related! I live with a number of furry beings and enjoy exploring the hills with them. I enjoy cooking, crochet and coffee!

I was born and grew up in Windsor, Berkshire and I moved to North Wales in 2014. I have always had an interest in animals and their welfare and for two years I volunteered for a swan rescue charity in Eton which developed my passion for wild birds, in particular owls and swans.

I have been a receptionist at Llandudno Vets4Pets since the day we opened in January 2015 and although it can be challenging at times, I am still broadening my knowledge of veterinary care and treatment day by day. I acquired my Veterinary Care Assistant Diploma in 2018.

In my spare time I enjoy walking and exploring the country and its hidden gems. I have 2 cats called Ollie and Jelly.
