Meet the team

Sally graduated from the University of Liverpool in 1998. Starting her career as a Mixed Animal Vet in North Yorkshire, Sally soon gravitated toward Small Animal Practice, allowing her to focus on providing exceptional care for companion pets.
Sally decided to make the move to Northern Ireland with her family, and we are delighted to have her join our team at Vets4Pets Newtownards, where she looks forward to getting to know our fantastic clients and their pets alike! Sally enjoys a wide range of medicine and surgery, and has a keen interest in progressing her ultrasound skills.
In her free time, Sally enjoys getting to spend quality time with her family and her own pets, including her cheeky ex-racehorse Frankie.
We hope you will enjoy getting to know Sally as much as we have!

After 7 years working as an Animal Nursing Auxiliary, Laura enrolled in Greenmount College and gained her Veterinary Nursing qualifications in 2015.
Laura has a particular interest in medical nursing and is determined to make all her patients feel loved and nurtured. She is also a qualified Pet Health Counsellor and runs her own clinics, giving specialist advice.
Laura has a dog called Mitch, a colourful little character with the ability to brighten anyone's day and a cat called Lenny, who Laura couldn't say no to when he was handed into the practice as a stray in much need of some TLC!

Kat joined us in 2019 as a Client Care Advisor, and is now our Practice Manager. Kat has an abundance of customer service experience and previously worked in the funeral industry, but her love of animals swayed her to change careers and enter the veterinary world!
Kat is a dog lover and has a Black Labrador called Hollie, and a bouncy Golden Retriever called Charlie.
Kat looks forward to welcoming clients and patients, existing and new, to our modern purpose designed practice!

Melissa joined the practice in October 2020 as part our Reception Team. She previously worked in the optical industry but then decided that her love of animals would eventually bring her to us.
At home she has a young daughter and a husband, along with 2 rescue Whippets called Moe & Susie to keep her busy on her days off.
Melissa loves all animals, big and small and welcomes everyone into the practice with a smile.

Zoe is the most recent member of our Reception Team, joining us in August 2022. Zoe is enjoying getting to know our clients and their pets and has fitted in incredibly well with our growing team!
Zoe has 2 cats, Kevin and Toff, and 2 dogs, Poppy and Agnes, and if they're not enough to keep her busy, she is also undertaking a Psychology diploma in her spare time.
Vets4Pets Newtownards is committed to bringing you affordable, high quality care via a modern, well equipped practice, including a lab, pharmacy, digital x-ray and ultrasound. Plus, on site car parking too!
