Meet the team
Hi I am Becky Pealing, one of the part time Veterinary Surgeons at Selby. I am originally from Cheltenham but moved up to Leeds in 2016. I wanted to be a vet since the age of 3 and spent a large part of my childhood around animals of all sizes! I graduated from the University of Liverpool in 2011 and went straight to a busy small animal practice in Staffordshire where I worked for 4 years. I enjoy all aspects of veterinary but have a particular interest in medicine. I have 2 young boys that take up most of my spare time but when I do have a few moments to myself I enjoy horse riding and running.

Hi! My name is Clare and I am one of the Registered Veterinary Nurses here at Selby. I qualified from Hartpury College in Gloucester in 2004 and have worked in many different types of practices since from nursing in small animal general practice to nursing in a specialist referral hospital. I enjoy all aspects of nursing but my favourite part has to be nursing clinics, especially looking after our geriatric patients. It is also rewarding getting to know the families of our patients. At home, we have a Jack Russell, a Weimaraner and 2 rabbits that keeps us busy in our free time!
I have worked for Vets4pets since 2012 and love being a Practice Manager. There is never a dull moment working within Veterinary. I really enjoy working with the team at Selby, we are all close and expect very high standards from each other. In my spare time i love to go out walking with my dogs and spending time with friends and family. I have always loved animals and currently own 2 beagles called Holly and Murphy, a border terrier called Nelly, 5 guinea pigs and 2 rabbits.
My name is Kayleigh and I am currently training to become a Veterinary Nurse at Vets4Pets Selby. I’m originally from Lincolnshire and moved to York in 2010, where I have worked with animals ever since. I have 3 house rabbits, Franklin, Pippa & Ella, a German shepherd x Collie puppy called Daisy and a Lurcher called Jessie. All rescues! In my spare time I like to socialise with friends, go on long walks with Daisy and I love to cook.
I have always had a love for animals, so working at Vets4Pets is ideal! I’ve had many different animals though out my life but currently have a cheeky cat called Coal. I enjoy working with the fantastic team here and meeting all the clients and their pets!
