Elise is a graduate (cum laude) of Colorado State University (1998) and the Royal Veterinary College (honours), University of London (2003). She's received her formal training in medical endoscopy and 'key hole' surgery from well-known human and veterinary institutions based in the UK, France, Germany, Italy and United States. She continues to work alongside well-known human neonatal & paediatric endoscopists based at the world famous Bambino Gesu Children’s Hospital in Rome in applying One Health principles into veterinary clinical practice.
She operates a peripatetic feline medicine and endoscopy/endosurgery referral service (canine & feline) for first opinion and referral practices based in SE England, Singapore, Hong Kong and Malaysia. She also delivers regular CPD events throughout the UK, USA, Europe, SE Asia and China.
She currently divides her time between clinical work, teaching/lecturing and publishing within the subjects of feline medicine, endoscopy & endosurgery. She’s Head European Mentor for ISFM/University of Sydney Distance Education in Feline Medicine, lecturer (CE Endoscopy & Endosurgery courses) at The Translational Medicine Institute at Colorado State University, and regular guest-lecturer at Chulalongkorn University Bangkok, Thailand. She was the 2018 recipient of the BSAVA PetSavers Award for her meritorious contributions as a veterinary surgeon in small animal veterinary practice, awarded Fellowship of Higher Education Academy and Fellowship of Royal Society of Biology. She has a particular passion for delivering practical feline medicine and endoscopy/endosurgery education, for both undergraduate and postgraduate students, on a global scale.

Katie has worked in the Veterinary field since 2008 and Qualified as a nurse in 2013. She also has a national diploma in equine management.
She has been at Vets4pets Sidcup since it opened in 2014, prior to this she worked as an out of hours nurse at a busy Veterinary hospital.
Katie has 2 cats Muffin and Buttons (pictured). Buttons was a stray who was brought in to the practice with no chip and never claimed, so Katie ended up re homing her and the rest is history.
In her spare time Katie enjoys seeing her friends and family, horse riding and trips to Derbyshire with her Husband.

Student Veterinary Nurse

Sam Joined V4P in October 2015 after having been working for Battersea dogs and Cats home for 13 years.
She has been a member of various dog clubs for 28 years, ranging from Agility, Heelwork to music, Obedience and Scent work. Her hobbies include photography, needle felting, horse riding and carriage driving as well as spending time with her husband, daughter and training her dogs.
She is owned by two crazy lurchers Moco Loco and Vogue, a sassy Shih Tzu called Bindi, as well as 2 rabbits and 11 pigeons. She is continuing to work on her husband to have a Dexter Cow!!
