I’m Jake and I’ve been working at Vets for Pets in Tilehurst since June 2019 after completing work experience at the practice for two weeks prior in january 2019.

In my spare time, i enjoy gaming and watching the best team in the world West ham play. I love listening to music so you’ll usually find me with headphones in listening to my favourite artists.

Kelly

Animal Nursing Assistant

Read Kelly bio

My name is Kelly, I started working at Vets for Pets in October 2021 as a client care advisor.
Then in February 2023 I started my journey as a veterinary nursing assistant.

In my spare time I am normally found at the stables looking after my mare Suki and my 9 month old homebred gelding Arrow.

At home we have a working gundog called Benson who is a very handsome German shorthaired pointer.
We also have 2 zebra finches and 2 canary’s.

Meg

Student Veterinary Nurse

Read Meg bio

I’m Meg. I’ve been in the veterinary industry almost 8 years and worked with a range of different teams across Berkshire and Oxfordshire.

I joined Vets for Pets in August 2021 as an animal nursing assistant then started my student veterinary nurse training a few months later.

So far I have really been enjoying anaesthesia, nurse clinics and enhancing my laboratory skills when using the microscope.

In my spare time I enjoy going to the gym, bouldering and planning my next city to explore.

At the moment I don’t have any pets of my own, but my Dad has recently bought a ginger kitten called Timoschka. I look forward to meeting Timoschka and having lots of cuddles.

Head Veterinary Nurse

RVN

Read Natalie bio

I'm Natalie, I qualified in 2017 and have had three years experience in a small animal practice in Newbury. I then decided to nurse part time and study canine hydrotherapy. Due to an interest in lab work I then decided to have a complete break from nursing to work in a laboratory, working on autogenous vaccines for farm animals. I have now returned to nursing with Vets for Pets in November 2023.
