Meet the team

Adina - Burton.jpg

Adina Marchis PgCert DVM MRCVS

Joint Venture Partner and Veterinary Surgeon

Has been working in veterinary practice for 5 years and started working with Burton Vets4Pets team in October 2015. She specially enjoys consults and talking with clients and meeting all their pets.

Adina did a one year junior scholarship training in referral settings and she is very close to gaining her certificate for a post graduate qualification in Diagnostic imaging. An imaging certificate gives her better understanding of radiology, X-rays and ultrasounds which is a very good way to investigate diseases and get a better understanding of it. She particularly enjoys doing pregnancy scans

Outside work she loves spending time with her family and travelling.

Outside work he loves spending time with family and friends. He is the proud owner of Rusty the Rabbit whom he rescued due to behaviour issues and Bingzi the cat.

Rachael Wilson Bsc(hons)RVN A1

Head Veterinary Nurse

Qualified in 2009 from the Royal Veterinary College London. Since joining the practice in 2014 I have gained my Clinical coach certificate, allowing me to train veterinary nurses, an area of my job role I thoroughly enjoy.

I have worked in both first opinion and referral hospitals, I enjoy working in theatre monitoring anaesthetics especially since the addition of our multi parameter monitor.

I have recently rehomed a senior cat from the cats protection called Obama who is naturally already ruling the house and has made himself comfortable..... with the exception of 'bring your pet to work day'.

Bethanie Dennis

Student Veterinary Nurse

Hello, I have been at Vets4Pets since April as a student veterinary nurse. I started working in a veterinary practise in Nottingham as a nursing assistant in 2015, whilst I was studying animal care at Broomfield College. I gained a lot of experience there and enjoyed working alongside the nursing team.

Whilst at college, I undertook an extra canine first aid course and dog grooming course which I thoroughly enjoyed. I stayed in Nottingham until I came across Vets4Pets at the start of 2018 and decided it was the right time to apply for a student veterinary nurse position, which is something I really wanted. I am absolutely loving working here and studying veterinary nursing.

Outside of work I like to do triathlons and spend time with my many animals, including my puppy Cavapoo!

Outside of work, Kate owns two handsome Cavalier King Charles Spaniels who she absolutely adores. They go by the names of Sidney and Rupert and they love to go swimming.

Kate is happily married to Richard and they do everything together. Her favourite time of the year is the Christmas season. She gets very excited as she has many things to celebrate during this time.

Carriane Beard

Veterinary Receptionist

I have been a veterinary receptionist for the past 5 years and joined the team at Vets4Pets in May 2016 this year. I love my job and the challenges it brings.

I love all animals, but dogs will always have the edge! I will take any opportunity I can to fuss an older dog or steal a puppy for lots of cuddles!

In my spare time I spend as much time as I can with my own dog Tobi, a 7 year old working cocker spaniel. I also make glittered wine glasses, make origami book folds and sew. I am also passionate about a pop group called Take That!

We look forward to seeing you and your pets soon :)

Kerry Parker

Client Care Coordinator

Kerry has worked as a receptionist for Vets4Pets Burton since October 2015. She has worked in a customer facing role over 10 years as she previously trained as a Beauty Therapist. However she decided that her love of animals was too much and she pursued a career as a Veterinary Receptionist.

Her role is to meet and greet clients and to fuss all the kittens and puppies that come through the door.

When she’s not at work cuddling all the animals, Kerry likes to spend time with her husband, David and daughter, Mia. She also owns a dog named Rebel; No -one is sure of his breed but whatever he is, he is so cute and cuddly. Some would say spoilt but Kerry says loved.
