Meet the team
Lisa qualified as a RVN from the College of Animal Welfare in 2019. She has since worked in a referral hospital in Yorkshire before moving to Derbyshire in 2021.
She has a particular interest in behavioural work and enjoys medical nursing of inpatients.
She is owned by two Border collies, both of whom enjoy herding sheep and running agility courses whatever the weather.
Outside of work she enjoys walking in the local countryside and can sometimes be found partaking in track days.
I am a 3 year qualified veterinary nurse who is animal mad.
My home life is full of furry friends including 5 dogs, 3 cats and a large herd of rabbits.
In my free time I enjoy relaxing with a good book or spending time with friends and family,
Bethany is the second of our Client Care Advisors, and also shares our passion for looking after pets.
She has lived in Derbyshire all of her life and has a Golden Retriever-Poodle cross called Ellie, as well as her two family dogs, Lottie and Teddy.
Outside work, she enjoys reading and socialising with friends and family.
Claire began her career at VetsforPets in Derby and then transferred to her local Heanor practice in 2024.
Claire looks forward to meeting the lovely clients at the Heanor practice and all their wonderful pets.
Outside of work Claire enjoys socialising, long country walks and strength training at her local gym.
Before joining the Heanor practice Heather's professional background was related to animal welfare and rehoming.
Heather is the proud owner of two rescue French Bulldogs, George and Ivy, a cat
called Honey and a small herd of amazing guinea pigs.
Any free time Heather has is spent socialising with friends and family.
Welcome to Vets for Pets Heanor! The practice opened its doors in January 2020, and is owned and run by veterinary surgeon, Ann O'Neill. We provide a friendly, personal service for all of your pet's needs and treat our patients the way we would treat our own pets. We know the importance of continuity of care and therefore ensure you see the same vet if possible each time you visit. Our modern practice is fully equipped to look after your pet's every need including a laboratory, pharmacy, digital x-ray and dental x-ray facilities onsite. We also offer health plans which are a great way to spread the cost of routine veterinary treatments. We look forward to meeting you and your pets soon!
