Meet the team

I'm Simon, Company Director, I opened the Cleveley's practice with Martin back in 2012. When there was only the 3 members of staff. I am extremely proud to have developed the practice and of the 21 members of the team, we now have. It is very satisfying to have evolved the practice to meet the changing needs of our patients and their owners. I am a big believer in teamwork and as well as my day to day office duties I am more than happy to assist in our vast amount of daily cleaning duties and puppy cuddling.

Martin is our Clinical Director. He was involved in the practice long before it opened, being heavily involved in the design and layout of the practice to ensure we could give the best clinical service in safety and comfort.
As Clinical Director he sets the tone of the practice clinically, developing and monitoring the clinical standards and protocols to ensure we are consistently and repeatably offering the best for you and your pets in the safest way.
Even if you don't see him for your visit he will likely be involved in your pets care in some way or other. He runs our clinical club and case review sessions.
He also is involved in training, supporting and developing the skills of the rest of the clinical team.

Charlotte joined the practice in 2022 and has quickly settled in to our routines. She is always smiling and a popular member of the team.
She is really looking forward to meeting everyone and offering the best level of care to our patients.

Lynsey joined the team in 2014 and has been a popular and valued member of the team. After taking a career break in 2019 we are delighted that Lynsey has returned to Cleveleys vets4pets.
Lynsey enjoys all aspects of veterinary but is particularly interested in medicine. Lynsey lives in scotland and spends a great deal of her commute studying and training to better serve your pets.

Robyn has worked and lived in Thornton-Cleveleys for most of her career and so is a familiar face for many of us.
She is passionate about animal behaviour and is studying a post graduate qualification in this subject area. Robyn is a cat fanatic and particularly enjoys feline medicine.
At home Robyn is the owner of 3 cats, 2 dogs, 3 chickens and 3 children.

Nicolle is Blackpool born and bred. She loves working in the area where she has grown up and enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine.

Mert joined us in the autumn of 2023. He has settled in quickly and enjoys all aspects of veterinary. He has a good way managing our more challenging patients and enjoys dentistry.

Dr Tudor Herlea
Veterinary Surgeon
MRCVS

Josh joined us on 2024 and is looking forward to meeting you all

Estelle joined the team at the end of 2023 as the Head Nurse, this is a role we feel that we need due to the nurse team growing.

Keely is an RVN and Clinical Care Supervisor. She began with the practice as a student nurse 11 years ago! She qualified from Myerscough with a degree in Veterinary Nursing in 2015 and took on the role of clinical care supervisor 3 years ago. Keely's job is to ensure the clinical standards, set by Martin, are adhered to and maintained by everyone each and every day. She is also an SQP which is a small animal medicines advisor. This allows her to prescribe certain medications to our patients. In addition to all this she is one of our clinical coaches for nursing students.
Keely loves all aspects of my job but especially like the aftercare of patients that have been critically ill, injured or have undergone major surgery. She has a nursing certificate in emergency medicine. As well as the immediate aftercare, Keely loves seeing the recovery process in the days and weeks to come.

Caitlin joined us as a permanent member of our nursing team shortly after graduating. She is already a familiar face to us as she was also part of our student nursing team, completing her training with us over the 3 years of her course.
She is funny and enthusiastic and is looking forward to settling in to the team and developing all of her skills and passions.

I'm Claire one of the vet nurses here. I started with the practice as a student nurse in 2014 and qualified as a registered veterinary nurse in 2017. I am also an SQP which allows me to advise and prescribe certain medications to my patients.I have a certificate in nutrition so I am able to run clinics surrounding all things food related, whether you have a fussy pet, one with allergies or a pet with specific dietary requirements or are simply struggling with their weight. I have a keen interest in schedule 3 procedures and especially favour scrubbing in to assist the vets with complex surgical procedures

Lucy qualified as an ACA in 2021 and has been a member of the practice ever since. Lucy decided to take the leap into studying to become a veterinary nurse on 2023. She enjoys spending time with the inpatients and ensuring that they have a comfortable stay while they are with us. Lucy enjoys being part of the team and feeling like she is making a difference.
She is outgoing and bubbly and you'll be greeted by a big grin if she's helping on reception on your visit.

She recently took a career break and returned as Compliance Manager for the practice. This role focusses on ensuring we are adhering to our practice standards commitments such as; 'cat friendly' & RCVS accredited practice. In 2024 she has now taken over the Practice Manager role at the Clevelys branch from Simon. You may see me at time to time at Warbreck and look forward to seeing you soon

I started with Vets4Pets in 2023 and I am loving my role as Client Care Manager. Every day is like no other, and I love absolutely everything that comes with this job. From seeing new patients and clients, to undertaking administration jobs and leading the reception team.
I am lucky to work with such a fantastic team, and since Martin and Simon have taken over Blackpool Warbreck Vets4Pets, our work family has expanded. My love for animals started at a very young age, and I honestly don’t think it will ever go away!
Having worked in the veterinary industry since I was 15 years of age after my work experience placement, I couldn’t imagine doing anything else.
Outside of work you’ll normally find me walking my 4 gorgeous dogs and cleaning and tidying up after them!
