Veterinary Surgeon

I qualified from Edinburgh in 1993 and have worked in Small Animal Practice since graduating.

I had my own practice for 18 years but with increasing paperwork and management demands, gave it up at the end of 2018 to get back to clinical practice.

I’m a very experienced medic and surgeon able to do a wide range of general and complex procedures, so there’s little that’s possible in general practice that I can’t or won’t do, but always with respect to the owners wishes.

I also love rabbit and ‘small furry’ medicine & surgery and I’m enjoying seeing the large number of these patients we have here as well as all the dogs & cats.

I intend to stay at Vets4Pets for the rest of my career and hope to see the practice flourish with what myself and the team have to offer you and your pet.

I’m Steven, the Practice Manager and Head Veterinary Nurse here at Bolton Central. I started my career in the Veterinary industry in 2008 where I began nursing in private independent practice. I joined the Vets4Pets group roughly 5 years ago and headed over to Bolton Central to manage the day-to-day running of the surgery in February 2018. I still enjoy nursing where I can and have a keen interest in surgical and anaesthesia nursing. At home, I have a Dachshund X called Arlo along with two cats Eric & Chandler. In my spare time I enjoy socialising with family & friends, camping and also playing snooker & pool.
