Meet the team

Hi I’m Amanda, I first started working in the veterinary profession in 2000 and qualified as a veterinary nurse in 2004. Since qualifying I have worked in a number of practices in the North West of England, from small practices to referral centres and large hospitals and emergency and critical care practices. I have worked in all areas throughout my career, theatre, wards, out of hours and preventative health care consultations. During this time have I have gained my A1 assessor qualification and been a clinical coach. I first joined Vets4pets group at Penny Lane, and joined Accrington Vets4pets in 2018, where I have taken the head nurse roll. I’m interested in all aspects of nursing and passionate about providing a high standard of patient care for your furry family members. In my spare time I am busy with my horses Harold and Solomon and my cat Kitty.

Hi I'm Jenny, I obtained my degree in veterinary nursing in 2017 and I joined Vets 4Pets in November 2019. I am very passionate about high standards of care for all my patients and I am currently studying an advanced nursing qualification in exotic species.
In my spare time I am very artistic and outgoing, I enjoy attending concerts and being creative. My home consists of our spoilt cats, a cheeky hamster, a loud dancing cockatoo and an adorable complicated rabbit. At work I am referred to as the crazy rabbit lady due to my passion, knowledge and dedication to their care.
I look forward to meeting all your furbabies from dogs and cats to small furries.

Hi I’m Morgan, I have just finished my degree in veterinary nursing in May 2021 and have joined the nursing team here at Accrington Vets4Pets. I enjoy all aspects of nursing but I am particularly interested in anaesthesia and surgery. In my spare time I will either be walking my dogs, Riley and Buster or riding my horse Cassie. I look forward to meeting you and your pets!

My name is Holly and I have been working for Vets4Pets for the past 5 years. Although I have been here at Accrington for the past 4.
I work as part of the nursing team to provide gold standard care for your pets. I have completed my diploma in animal nursing assistance and I am a qualified VCA. I aspire to be a registered veterinary nurse and will be starting my degree in due course, from there I aim to work closely within my fields of interest, some of these being ECC, Exotic and Zoological.
You may recognise me from my crazy hair colours or terrible singing, which my colleagues don’t always thank me for! I have 2 cats, both who are rescues and spend their days mainly eating and sleeping.
I am always happy to help where I can and look forward to seeing you and your pets, whether you are existing clients or new!

Hi, I'm Kelly! I started working as a Client care advisor for Vets4Pets in August 2018, prior to this I spent 12 years in Credit control and Fraud investigation. I've always had a love for animals and never been without multiple pets. I'm the friend that pet sits when their owners go on holiday or dog walks when their owners are unable too. I volunteered on a farm during my teenage years, working there every weekend for 5 year's.
Since starting my role at Vets4Pets I've been a fosterer for multiple animals that are unwell, caring for them until they are fit and ready for their new life. My first attempt at fostering failed, the kitten I took home stole my heart and he gained his forever home with me, he's a handful but I couldn't be without him.
I look forward to my future within the company.

Hi I am Jan, I have worked at Vets4Pets for nearly 3 years now after working for 22 years in the Housing Sector.
Having had dogs all my life and currently being the owner of a badly behaved Staffie called Wilson, I thoroughly enjoy meeting all our furry clients and especially our new puppies and kittens and seeing how they have grown every time that they visit the surgery.
When not at work I enjoy walks with Wilson and spending time with my family especially my new grandson.

Hi I’m Megan I’m part of the reception team, I’ve been working here since December 2018. You can usually find me stealing a cuddle with all the pets on reception. I have a dog of my own called Bruno who is a working cocker spaniel he has bundles of energy which keeps me on my toes.
In my spare time I will be at the stables taking care of Rosie my Welsh Section D pony who I have trained myself in preparation for the up and coming show season.
