Physiotherapy Service
Our physiotherapy service is led by Kayleigh who graduated from The College of Animal Physiotherapy in Aylesbury, Bucks. She has a diploma in APhys level 6.
We are delighted to introduce our veterinary physiotherapy services based in Grimsby providing rehabilitation for pets.
Kayleigh has a special interest in physiotherapy and is able to provide the following services:
• Manual physiotherapy
• Pulsed electromagnetic field therapy
• Ultrasound therapy
What is physiotherapy?
Small animal physiotherapy is a complementary therapy for issues affecting physical movement. For example, lameness arising from an injury, following an operation, or age-related conditions such as arthritis, can benefit.
When is physiotherapy helpful for pets?
Physiotherapy can be used to help improve post-op healing, orthopaedic complaints, improve fracture repair, ease pain in arthritic and diseased joints and slow down further degeneration.
