Meet the team
Hi. I am Sophie
I qualified from the University of Liverpool in 2012 and worked as a small animal vet in Liverpool for several years.
I started working at Vets4Pets Leigh in November 2020 and I have enjoyed meeting all the lovely animals and their owners over the last few months. Everyone has been very welcoming, especially during these difficult times.
I have a keen interest in small animal medicine; especially endocrinological, geriatric and feline cases.
I previously started a feline medicine certificate with the University of Liverpool, and I hope to resume this once my twin boys are a little older. When not working I enjoy spending with my family and our animals. We enjoy being outdoors and active
Hi, I am Juliana
I have been working in small animal practice since I graduated in 2017 from the Complutense University of Madrid, and I moved to the UK with my four cats in early 2019 to begin a new adventure!
My main interests are Internal and Feline Medicine, Anaesthesia and Dermatology, and I’m planning to start a Dermatology Certificate this year.
I have been volunteering in different animal charities in both UK and Spain for almost 15 years, and I foster and rehabilitate both dogs and cats who sadly don’t have families to call their own.
In my free time you can find me reading, playing my ukulele or playing fetch with my Cocker Spaniel, Teo.
Hi, I'm Louise
I started working in my first veterinary practice in 1999 and soon after began my training to become a Veterinary Nurse, qualifying in 2005. I have experience working in many different veterinary practices; including emergency clinics, small and large animal practices and also exotic species. I enjoy all aspects of nursing, especially consulting and meeting clients.
In my spare time, I enjoy cooking, drawing and spending time with my family and our African Grey Parrot, Coco.
Hi, I am Emma
I qualified as a veterinary nurse in 2007 and spent 13 years working in a busy, small animal hospital gaining experience with a variety of domestic pets, reptiles and birds.
In 2010 I travelled to Australia and worked as a nurse at several different practices including Steve Irwins Wildlife Hospital. Here I rehabilitated orphaned and injured koalas ready for their return to the wild.
I have a keen interest in animal behaviour and gained a distinction in my canine vet nursing and behaviour certificate from COAPE.
In my spare time I can be found walking or training my young sprokerdor Tarka
Hi, I'm Lorna
I am a first year student veterinary nurse. I studied animal nursing assistance last year at Eccles Sixth Form College.
I decided I wanted to work in a small animal practice as I have always had a love for animals.
I currently have 3 horses, 2 Chihuahuas and a Labrador.
In my spare time I like to spend time with my horses and go to dance competitions with my dance team at SDZ Academy
I am the practice manager here at Leigh and I have been here since January 2018,
I have been working with animals for over 14 years, I have 4 dogs, 2 bearded dragons, 2 tortoises and fish. I have a keen interest in dog nutrition, behaviour and rehabilitation. In my free time I love being outdoors, camping, hiking with the dogs and mountain biking.
Hi I’m Courtney,
Last year I completed a work placement here, at Leigh Vets4Pets, whilst studying for my certificate in Animal Management. I was lucky enough to be offered a Veterinary Care Assistant position here until September, when I will go on to do Veterinary Nursing in University whilst staying here for placement as a student nurse.
I have a keen interest in exotic animals and I currently have a Leopard Gecko and an African Pygmy Hedgehog to go along with my Guinea Pig, Cocker Spaniel & rescue from Spain.
Hi I am Jane and I have recently joined the fabulous team here at Vets4Pets Leigh in December 2020 and I am really enjoying my role so far as Client Care Advisor.
Vets4Pets Leigh is committed to bringing you affordable, high quality care via a modern, well equipped practice, including a lab, pharmacy, digital x-ray and ultrasound. Plus, on site car parking too!
