Hi I'm Becky and I'm one of the vets at Rawtenstall Vets4Pets, I graduated in 2011 from the University of Liverpool with distinction and have worked as a small animal vet since. I have an interest in surgery and I am currently working towards my CertAVP, an advanced certificate in small animal surgery. I also have an interest in rabbits, guinea pigs and other small animals as well as the usual dogs and cats! At home I have three very spoilt cats and a dog, and enjoy days out hiking in the country in my spare time and spending time with family, friends and our pets.

Hi, I am Marc from Bavaria, Germany. I have been working in the UK for nearly 25 years mainly in Equine and Mixed Practice. My veterinary life and experience has been very rich and colourful and has allowed me to see many changes, different aspects and sides of our profession and I am still learning every day! I have a particular interest in Acupuncture and have completed two ABVA Veterinary Acupuncture Foundation courses. I am a member of the Association of British Veterinary Acupuncturists (ABVA). I love dropping off the radar mountain biking and going walk about with Bill our Labrador.

BSc Honours Degree Veterinary Nursing

Hi, I'm Abigail. I'm one of the Veterinary Nurses here at Rawtenstall. I joined the team in November 2016 after graduating from Myerscough college with a BSc Hons degree in July 2016. Previous to this, I have worked in practice for 6 years prior to starting my degree and as a student.
I thoroughly enjoy all aspects of nursing and furthering my knowledge and skills. I am currently undertaking a certificate in Emergency and Critical Care.
I love working here at Rawtenstall as we have such a lovely and competent team. I enjoy spending time in theatre as well as medical nursing and building relationships with both clients and their beloved pets!
Some of you might have met my 2 dogs who are usually at work with me. Toff, my French bulldog and Penelope, my English bulldog are both super sociable and we love going for adventures with my other half. I also have the most precious boy in the world! My Ruedi is a Sphynx cat, I adore him! He gets on so well with his big sisters, always play fighting! Together they make the best brood.
When I'm not in work, you will usually find me out and about at Horse Shows with my 'wild child' Dales colt, Kozzy. He certainly keeps me busy and I have big aspirations for him in the future.
I hope I can always be a smiling face to help you and your pets out and help provide the best service here at Rawtenstall!

Practice Manager

Read Jenny bio

Hi, I'm Jenny. I am the Practice Manager here at Vets4Pets Rawtenstall. I have worked in Veterinary Practice for the last 19 years, working alongside the nursing and reception teams building up to my role as Practice Manager. I have worked for Vets4Pets since 2016. My love for animals drives my passion to build an amazing practice and I am very proud to be managing such an excellent team in a rapidly growing practice. I strive to ensure our practice gives you the best possible service, not only for your pets but for you as clients too. I'm usually hidden away, busily working in the office but I cover reception shifts often and can be found in the inpatient wards having cuddles with our day patients (a good excuse to give my eyes a rest from the computer!)

Away from work, I spend time with my family and our ever growing collection of pets! Willow and Flossie are our two crazy dogs (who are lucky enough to come to work with me every day), our old lady Ollie the cat and our newly adopted Pets At Home Guinea Pig, Chandler Bing.

Client Care Advisor

Hi, my name’s Sophie and I’m a member of the client care advisor team (fancy word for receptionist) here at Rawtenstall Vets4Pets. I started working here in 2018 after graduating university with a BSc Hons in Zoology with Herpetology (meaning I’m a weird snake lady). I’ve kept hundreds of different animals over the years including some that would surprise almost anybody (cough skunks cough) but I’m currently the proud owner of one geriatric lady Jack Russell Terrier with an attitude, Chocolate, a bonkers Tabby Cat with no boundaries, Emily, a not-so-slimy snake, Stanley, and a Blue Tongue Skink who loves Lasagne, Iris (I’ll let you figure out what’s special about her species).

When I’m not in practice, I’m usually spending time with my long-distance partner. Other than that I love art, fashion, gaming (..nerd) & spending time with my crazy human & animal family!

I’ve lived in Rossendale for 18 years.  I’ve worked in an administrative role for more years than I’m prepared to admit but working with animals has always been my dream. I was lucky enough to be offered a role at Vets4Pets in 2018 and I really enjoy it.

Until recently our animal family consisted of two older cats, Rug and Sumo, we now have the addition of our kitten Cilla, who has destroyed most of our wallpaper but is cute enough to get away with it!!  I’m still working on my husband for a dog.
