Meet the team
I am the Practice Owner and Veterinary Surgeon here at the Rawtenstall practice. I purchased the practice in March 2025 and have enjoyed getting to know the team and the clients while I take on the new adventure. I graduated vet school in 2009 and started work as a small animal vet since then. My journey with Vets for Pets started in 2011 and I knew then I wanted to become a Joint Venture Partner. Running my own practices brings many challenges, but the best part of being a partner is being able to run the practice with the support that I need which still enables me to focus on the clinical side and care of my patients. Overall, I think I am very lucky. I’m doing a job that I love, treating small animals with gentle, safe and effective therapies. I meet amazing, caring and inspiring people every day; people profoundly concerned for the welfare of the animal members of their families. Outside of work I am always researching and keeping up to date on what is new in Veterinary Medicine. I have a Japanese Akita called Hatchi and we love going for walks together. I also enjoy reading and love a good story.
Hi I'm Becky and I'm one of the vets at Rawtenstall Vets for Pets, I graduated in 2011 from the University of Liverpool with distinction and have worked as a small animal vet since. I have an interest in surgery and I am currently working towards my CertAVP, an advanced certificate in small animal surgery. I also have an interest in rabbits, guinea pigs and other small animals as well as the usual dogs and cats! At home I have three very spoilt cats and a dog, and enjoy days out hiking in the country in my spare time and spending time with family, friends and our pets.

Hello

I like spending time with the family on day trips out
I'm a nurse here at Rawtenstall Vets for Pets, you will find me cuddling all your pets or singing and dancing away.
I love all creatures great and small, I have got plenty of animals enough to fill a zoo! I am particularly fond of one very special boy my prince Chester the spoilt Cockerpoo!
I am hoping to develop my career into further afield and qualify in exotic nursing one day and hopefully work in conservation abroad.
When I am not in practice I spend plenty of time attending zoo's, farms, and Horse riding, as you can tell I spend every moment I can with animals, they are my world

I am an experienced Practice Manager with Vets for Pets, overseeing both the Middleton and Rawtenstall practices. Having started my journey with Middleton Vets for Pets as a Receptionist in 2017, I progressed into a management role in 2019 and have since developed a passion for leading teams, supporting colleagues, and delivering excellent client and patient care.
My background includes four years of studying Animal Management at Hopwood Hall College, providing a strong foundation in animal welfare and veterinary practice. I enjoy combining my love of animals with the operational side of practice management, helping to create positive environments for both clients and colleagues while ensuring high standards of care are maintained.
I have worked at Rawtenstall Vets for Pets as part of the front of house team since October 2021. I previously worked in an administrative role for many years within the NHS. Working with animals has always been a dream of mine so when I was offered a role at Vets4Pets Rawtenstall I was really happy.
I have a 3 year old Rottweiler named Kylo who I absolutely adore. He is a gentle giant and is spoilt to the core. He comes everywhere with me & I love our adventures together!
I’ve lived in Rossendale for 18 years. I’ve worked in an administrative role for more years than I’m prepared to admit but working with animals has always been my dream. I was lucky enough to be offered a role at Vets for Pets in 2018 and I really enjoy it.
Until recently our animal family consisted of two older cats, Rug and Sumo, we now have the addition of our kitten Cilla, who has destroyed most of our wallpaper but is cute enough to get away with it!! I’m still working on my husband for a dog.
Hello
I've worked at Vets for Pets Rawtenstall since October 2023 after previously working as a Dog Grooming Stylist for The Groom Room for 6 years. I have always loved working with animals but after having my little boy I couldn't continue with grooming, so when this opportunity came up at Vets for Pets it was perfect.I have a tiny Pomeranian called Louis who is very cute and he knows it.When I'm not at the practice you can find me attempting to entertain/running around after an unruly toddler.
