Hi I'm Becky and I'm one of the vets at Rawtenstall Vets4Pets, I graduated in 2011 from the University of Liverpool with distinction and have worked as a small animal vet since. I have an interest in surgery and I am currently working towards my CertAVP, an advanced certificate in small animal surgery. I also have an interest in rabbits, guinea pigs and other small animals as well as the usual dogs and cats! At home I have three very spoilt cats and a dog, and enjoy days out hiking in the country in my spare time and spending time with family, friends and our pets.

Hi, my name’s Sophie and I’m a member of the client care advisor team (fancy word for receptionist) here at Rawtenstall Vets4Pets. I started working here in 2018 after graduating university with a BSc Hons in Zoology with Herpetology (meaning I’m a weird snake lady). I’ve kept hundreds of different animals over the years including some that would surprise almost anybody (cough skunks cough) but I’m currently the proud owner of one geriatric lady Jack Russell Terrier with an attitude, Chocolate, a bonkers Tabby Cat with no boundaries, Emily, a not-so-slimy snake, Stanley, and a Blue Tongue Skink who loves Lasagne, Iris (I’ll let you figure out what’s special about her species).

When I’m not in practice, I’m usually spending time with my long-distance partner. Other than that I love art, fashion, gaming (..nerd) & spending time with my crazy human & animal family!

I’ve lived in Rossendale for 18 years.  I’ve worked in an administrative role for more years than I’m prepared to admit but working with animals has always been my dream. I was lucky enough to be offered a role at Vets4Pets in 2018 and I really enjoy it.

Until recently our animal family consisted of two older cats, Rug and Sumo, we now have the addition of our kitten Cilla, who has destroyed most of our wallpaper but is cute enough to get away with it!!  I’m still working on my husband for a dog.
